Hi! Call me Ms. Natasha, and welcome to ACSEL Coaching!
I'm Natasha Dhannani, a certified elementary school counselor in Georgia for K-12 who has turned my passion for supporting students into a learning platform. After just a couple of years working within the school system, I realized that school counselors, despite their best efforts, often don’t have the time to conduct lessons with the depth and consistency needed to fully support every student. Teachers also struggle with increasing class sizes and the lack of support from the public school system. In addition, it is no secret that negative behaviors in children have gone up, and empathy has gone down. Any educator will say that kids have different and specific needs in the post-COVID world.
Parents seemed desperate for help. I looked online for a service I could recommend to those who wanted to support their students at home or a selection of videos that both parent and child could watch together and discuss. Eventually, I got sick of looking and started creating.
That’s where ACSEL Coaching comes in.
I founded ACSEL Coaching to ensure students receive the support they deserve through asynchronous courses. I help students reach their full academic potential, explore diverse career paths, and develop the social-emotional skills they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world. With each course jam-packed with easy-to-follow lessons, I'm confident that your students will be able to learn and apply the material they're taught immediately and in the future.
My favorite part of these lessons is that students listen, write, read and draw what I'm doing and watch me do it all.
This activates four learning styles (VARK): visual, auditory, reading/writing, and kinesthetic.
It also helps students write and follow along, a transferable skill that students can use in school when their teacher is teaching and writing on the board. in these videos, students can play and pause at their leisure and watch at the speed that they are comfortable with.
